what is the fastest way to go from Italy or Spain to buenos aires by ship?

I could take a cruise ship but do not want to spend to much time on travelling. Flying has become a pain nowadays. After spending 3 weeks or so in Buenos Aires I would like to return using the same (or a similar) route.

2. Many freighters that traverse the world make space for passengers. They have their own cabins and the I read that the meals are very good. However, they are very expensive and they take a lot of time. There are several websites on freighter travel. Interesting way to travel if you have time and money. The plane is your best bet despite the pain.
