Has anyone traveled to Florence with a baby under a year old?
I am looking at planning a holiday in the late summer next year for myself, my partner and our baby. Traveling from the UK. Our baby is expected Nov this year so I wondered if anyone has any experience to suggest if Florence is a good idea, or not. Or any suggestions of European trips which would suit if not this? Thanks in advance.

- When my daughter (now 5) was 10 months we flew to paris and hired a car, drove to eurodisney, then right down through france to Nice, Pisa, Florence (although we spent 3 days at a motorbike circuit and didnt actually get into Florence itself) Rome, Rimini, Lake Garda, Chamonix and back up to Paris again (in 17 days). The best advice I can give you is to buy an umbrella buggy (one that folds up really small and neat) if you will be using public transport and make sure you take all your formula with you if you arent breastfeeding. It all depends on how relaxed you are and if you dont stress, you can go almost anywhere :) (we are also just back from taking our 7 yr old, 5 yr old and 8 month old camping in Northern Ireland - all of them had a ball!!!)
